1
Step 1

  • Subject and Research Question
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results and Conclusions

The Scientific Committee is also very attentive to the respect of ethical principles. Proposals must fall within themes related to biological anthropology.

Accepted languages: French and English.

Scientific Committee Review

Feedback · end of October 2026

After evaluation by the Scientific Committee, you will receive a final decision regarding your proposal, which will confirm:

  • Its acceptance or refusal
  • The theme your communication will be part of
  • The chosen communication format (oral or poster)

Any proposal not complying with the presentation rules or ethical principles will be rejected, regardless of the interest of the subject.

Organization

Scientific & Organizing Committee

Each year, for the preparation of the following year’s Days, an organizing committee and a scientific committee are established.

OC

Organizing Committee

The organizing committee manages all aspects of the organization (financial, technical, logistical). It includes members of the Board of Directors, president, general secretary, editors, treasurer, and volunteers, as well as members of the laboratory hosting the organization of the Days.

SC

Scientific Committee

The scientific committee evaluates received communication proposals and makes a decision regarding them (acceptance, refusal, proposal for change of theme or format). Its decisions are sovereign. When a theme leads to the publication of a thematic section in the BMSAP, the relevant SC transforms into a team of associate editors.

It is subdivided into three teams: one for each of the two themes, and one for research news. Only scientific legitimacy matters, whether they are a member of the SAP, the organizing laboratory, or not.
